What is the advantage of using a trainer, and what sets you apart from the others?
A trainer guides and motivates you toward reaching your goals. After an initial body assessment and fitness questionnaire, I will be able to set you up on a program geared toward your abilities, needs and goals.

I have been certified through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) since 1994 and have trained personally for 34 years. I attend seminars, conferences and workshops regularly and stay up to date on all the latest research and training methods.

My clients enjoy the upbeat energy of our workouts and the variety of exercises. It makes training fun and provides more stimuli to the muscles for faster results!

Can you help me with an eating plan?
Absolutely! Proper nutrition plays a key role in successfully reaching your goals. We go over what you’re currently eating on a daily basis, and the timing of your meals and snacks. By tracking what you eat for a few days, it allows me to see (and you too!) what foods are consumed, how often, and if you’re getting the nutrients you need for optimal benefits. If your goal is to lose weight, I will suggest a caloric amount that matches your exercise program to help you achieve faster results! I don’t believe in deprivation diets, just a healthier way of eating for life!

 

What different workouts do you offer in your studio?
I like variety in my training and so do most of my clients. Studies show better results in weight loss and increased lean mass and bone mass when you change up your routine with different stimulus. Not to mention it’s a lot more fun to train that way!

In my private studio I have top of the line equipment including Precor strength and cardio machines (including eliptical trainer and treadmill), Paramount and TRX functional training systems, Balls, BOSU Trainers, Balance equipment, a Schwinn spinning bike, Punching bag, Free-weights and more! Some or all can be incorporated into fun and challenging workouts! I always have my client’s best interest in mind and design programs to match their ability and goals.

How long will it take and how much will it cost?
How long will depend on your goals, your commitment and what you do on your own time. I encourage clients to stay active and eat healthy meals and snacks.

My training fees are much lower than a club or gym. I offer single session rates and discount packages of 8 or more. Partner and small group training is also available.
